Playing with Miku

We were headed to the park the other day when Sterling's friend Miku and her mom Kazuko came outside to say hi to us. So we just asked them if they wanted to go with us and we had a great time! The pictures are pretty self-explanatory, but basically, the kids climbed a hill, rode the bouncy toys, went down the slide and fed the fish, ducks and turtles. It was a fun evening.

I'm so happy you guys are making friends. I can't wait to hear Sterling talk in Japanese!
I was curious..Do a lot of Japanese women stay home with their children or do they work?

The women in Japan (from my observation) seem to stay home with their kids until they go to school- which is much earlier here- around 4 years old they start going full time. But until that time it seems like most of them stay home- it seems like it's a social expectation.
